Rosie's was just okay. I ordered takeout, so that could've been why the food wasn't super remarkable. I ordered the ravioli al forno and was expecting a cheesy baked ravioli dish. Instead it was just plain ravioli in red sauce. The red sauce also tasted and looked reminiscent to something you'd buy premade at the supermarket. It just didn't feel like restaurant quality. The meatballs were in the same sauce so unfortunately these also weren't a hit. The bread that came with our meal was stale. The star of the show was the chicken marsala which came in a really rich and flavorful sauce with a ton of mushrooms, string beans, carrots and creamy mash potatoes on the side. My family and I went to this restaurant for the first time for dinner. And let me tell you. We'll go back soon. The food was from this world! Her grilled octopus was the best we ever had! Her seafood fra diavolo was fresh and so delicious my husband almost wanted to order a second! Her chicken fingers and pommes were so crispy and delicious! The service was also exceptional. And the atmosphere is very welcoming! The owners even came by to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We will go back very soon!!! Very recommended!!
Rosie’s is the best! We’ve been coming here for years! When we have guests coming to our house or a special occasion, we always go to Rosie’s! In this COVID time we have used their special filet mignon dinner to go and it’s grilled to perfection!! We drive up and they put it in your car! It comes with salad, bread, a side dish of penne pasta and a whole mini dessert dish with at least 10 different pastries! And you can’t feed 4 6 people for this price!! ROSIE WE LOVE YOU!!
We 've been here twice now and both times the service, food, atmosphere, and especially beverages were absolutely amazing. My cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was fresh and delicious. The friendly and knowledgeable staff were happy and seemed to truly enjoy working there. I sincerely recommend for sure.
Nice place and good food. The place was packed so I suggest making reservations on a Saturday night. Not being negative but there might have been a shortage in staff for the amount of people that were dining. The staff had a great attitude and were trying to accommodate everyone as fast they could.
The food was delicious. We ordered Nona's meatballs with ricotta as an appetizer and the chicken parm as an entree. The sauce was light and the chicken was very tender. The ambiance was a nice rustic fine dining feel and the service and staff was great. Would definitely recommend!
Good food, always welcoming/warm service. And the bar is always lively. The restaurant section is a bit more reserved. Often times you will get to meet Rosie herself and she is a delight. My only comment is that the prices are a bit high for the food quality/presentation.
