The Original Rosslyn

This pub is excellent with a very friendly staff. I visited for dinner on Friday and Saturday, and the food was fantastic. As a vegetarian, I'm always concerned about what I'll be served, but I had no complaints at all. The staff, although young, were attentive and polite, providing great customer service. We brought our two small dogs and had no problems at all. We will definitely return next time we visit the caravan site, as it is conveniently just a 5-minute walk away.

Treated ourselves to Sunday lunch at the Original Inn today, and l can't praise this place highly enough. We both had roast beef, which was superb. Beautifully tender meat with all the trimmings, and desserts to die for. Thank you to the chef, waiters, and especially Freya, the Manager, who is charming and professional, and keeps it all running very smoothly. She is a real asset. We'll be back.

We ate here on two occasions and throughly enjoyed each time. The team were lovely and helpful and the food was great. The curry was superb, as were the fish dishes . Would highly recommend if in Roslin, The wee sung bar next door was also lovely for a drink or snack and their sister place Dolly’s across the road was super for breakfast and coffees.

I stopped by this charming pub while I was in the neighborhood. The atmosphere in the bar area was cozy, and I was happy to see that they welcome dogs and provide water for them if needed. The bartender, a friendly young lady, provided great service. I decided to have lunch, which was delicious, and stayed to watch the Italy/France game. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a beautiful and very quaint pub/ restaurant. The menu was very good as were the portions that we ordered. Staff were very polite and efficient and our meals were served quickly. I would definitely recommend eating here for lunch or dinner the atmosphere was great !

We were in the lounge bar near the lovely open fire. We only had a steak and a pulled pork sandwich but they were both excellent and great value for money (huge). Service was impeccable and it was a lovely place to visit. We will be back!

This hotel and pub was lovely food very good we found the staff so helpful a guy called Lev was very good at his job always so helpful thanks me and my wife had a lovely stay in your hotel we will be back soon

Pleasant gastro pub with atmosphere and good quality food and service. Menu is a bit restricted but that is not a bad thing . Dishes offered were well cooked and presented.

Excellent roast turkey lunch, very efficient service. Great position for visiting the Chapel and staying at Slatebarns camp site.
