First time at Rossanos on champlain in Moncton. Visiting from NS. Went in shortly after 8pm (close is 10pm) asked if we could have a booth since we had our baby with us (more space). Seated in booth. Waitress gave us menus. And that's about as good as it gets! She never came back ! 15 minutes later ... we put our baby back in stroller, gathered our things .. and i went and found a waitress down back and let her know we'd been up front seated for 15 minutes and that we were leaving now as they were way too slow. (I would personally say they just forgot about us). Restaurant not full.. lots of empty booths... and no one entered after we did. Anyway, we ate elsewhere.
The service was excellent and the food was outstanding!! I also love the philosophy of not paying more for your wine than your food. The bruschetta was delicious and a nice twist by using flatbread. The linguini with scallops in a rose sauce was so good and the half portion was more than enough. Although it was so good if I'd ordered the full portion I would have finished it and then regretted it. But only out of gluttony of course. I highly recommend this place!
If you are looking for a place to eat a good family meal in dieppe, rossano's is a very good choice. food is excellent and the reception is warmest. the children loved the desserts that are presented by the waitress directly at the table. all more alleviating one another.Only flat, the decor may need to be refreshed. The atmosphere is dark and made a little 90s. Otherwise, the rest is perfect!
We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. Food was very tasty. Prices of wine and beer were reasonable. Our waitress Erin was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Her suggestions were excellent and she came by a number of times to see if we needed anything. Also liked the smaller portions and a nice dessert menu. Will be going back again.

We had a lovely team meal at this restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The manager was very nice and came out to speak to us. We even got a free appetizer. Our food was served quickly and was delicious. We always visit Rossano's when we are in town. Even our picky eaters enjoyed the meal !
We ate here after a long drive because it was within walking distance of our hotel (the chateau). The food was reasonable at a reasonable price in a relaxed environment, which was exactly what we wanted. The staff was very friendly.
I've only had the stake, but it was the best stake I have ever had in my lifetime.
Service was very good.
The rest of the food including the desert was awesome.
I had supper this evening at Rossano's Italian Grill with Elaine, my pal from university, and her husband, Bill (they live in Moncton).
