We went through this restaurant on our first night and saw it was packed. I wanted to try our luck today. The manager scand for the place that was almost full and managed to get us a table. Excellent service! Some other restaurants just turned around...customers without reservations without even making an effort. We had beer, a huge salad and a pizza. You can help to serve olive oil and balsamico vinegar with it. Salad is fresh with sweet tomatoes and cheese. Pizza is a generous part. Overall we had a pleasant dinner. It is a good thing that we did not read the other views before we visited, or we would miss ourselves on a nice restaurant.
Lieblose Gerichte, auch als wir dem Kellner gesagt haben dass das Tages Menu völlig fad war, hat er absolut nichts dazu gesagt! Es war ihm völlig egal! Wow. Das Lokal ist schön, der Standort perfekt, die Preise sind auch OK und der Service ist einigermassen gut. Aber das Essen. Naja........ Man merkt dass es nur für Touristen gedacht ist die ja eh nie mehr kommen.
Das Rossini hat eine gute Lage und die Räumlichkeiten sind schön. Leider das einzige Gute!!Das Essen ist lieblos zubereitet und unterer Durchschnitt.Die Bedienung ist sehr unhöflich und eine absolute Zumutung.Vor ein paar Jahren war es im Rossini bedeutend besser. Jetzt ist es schlichtweg nicht empfehlenswert.
Wir hatten Lust auf Pizza und entschieden uns spontan fürs Rossini. Wir wurden sofort platziert und freundlich empfangen. Als Vorspeise entschieden wir uns für das Carpaccio und Crevetten. Danach 2 Pizzas. Dazu einen schönen Chianti. Wir fühlten uns wohl und wurden nett bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Our family of 8 arrived by 8:45 and were seated immediately, served and finished in an hour and 15 min. Our food was delicious and all the servers worked hard to meet our expectations. Dad said the spaghetti was almost as good as Mom's. Enjoyable authentic Italian food!
Worst manager ever. Hostile, rude, unfriendly, unkind, just to mention a few. Agree in some reviews, that the the issue is The Manager. He treat me really rudely. Really bad experience. I left right away.
Very bad pizza from the electric oven. The whole thing is really very bland. Thanks to my absolute accompaniment, the lumps of dough were bearable. Never again

My 1st meal @ luzern was here.The restaurant is ideally located facing the Kapellbrücke & no better way to enjoy an eveving in Swiss style
Nice service and the pizzas were really good too. I can't understand the overall bad rating. And it's certainly not justified.
