Rossmoyne Chinese Kè Rén Lái

To say my experience was disappointing would be an understatement. A couple of months ago, I had the Hakka Kolok that was fantastic, so I was excited to revisit this morning. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, but I was so eager to eat that I tried to overlook it. However, the Kolok Mee I had this time was nowhere near as good as I remembered—it was just overwhelmingly salty, and that was all I could taste. My grandmother’s Bienenhun was also just salty, with no other flavor. The sweet and sour pork was excessively thick and disappointing. I didn’t even finish my meal because it was so terrible. I really can’t figure out what went wrong this morning.

Dear counter staffFood is great.But please do not inform us of price change only when we’re getting the bill afterwards, while price change was noted on the wall, but by time of billing, you’re showing us yet another price change.And, it’s written all over your face of ‘so what?’That’s exemplified by your reply in cold tone ‘You should’ve asked price of dishes beforehand’Even the menu on table are of old prices, just like what’s on the wall.Oh yes, ‘we did not ask’ for receipt too.Frankly, not sure how many version of ‘new price changed’ menu you kept in your sleeve, or drawer?

Authentic Hakka kolomee! The portion was a bit small, but I might have just been really hungry after work. I definitely recommend it and will be returning!
