My visit to the Rosso restaurant left me rather perplexed. The entrance is not well signposted and difficult to find in the evening. The restaurant itself is located in a large hall within an industrial building. Due to the large number of tables and the sparse furnishings, there is a deafening noise that encourages guests to speak loudly. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a simple dish of pasta and a pizza. Unfortunately, neither the pasta nor the pizza were convincing. Positive aspects include the option to take water from the tap and the friendly staff. Visited here at lunchtime and shared a table on the terrace which was outside by the railway tracks. the inside restaurant looks to be in an old factory which is quite rustic in its own way. The speciality appears to be pizza but there are limited other options available. I had the cotto pizza which was freshly baked and very tasty. Being lunchtime, the restaurant was quite busy and whilst we ordered our food quite quickly, we did struggle to get the waitress' attention to pay our bill.
We visited on a Friday night with a local so no issues finding the place although I think I would have struggled otherwise as the entrance is not obvious. We had booked a table, which was just as well as the place was buzzing. The old warehouse setting works really well and we found the food and service very good and a reasonable price, especially the wine. Well worth the trip off the beaten track and totally different to most Zurich offerings.
I returned to Rosso as had some friends.Mostly pizza is worth it tried other dishes was disappointing. Pizza is fine but pricey even for zurich!! Service very slow - and wasn't busy. Unfriendly staff.Bread was mediocre. Decor industrial shabby chic supposedly but more shabby then chicFurniture also old.Took ages get bill

Cool italian place right beside the station. Pizza was flavorful and the thin crust was great. Pistachio gelato was also very good . It took too long to serve the gelato though, one of the waiters probably forgot but otherwise I had great service from them (I arrived before peak dinner time)
Very good pizza, quality products, warm, simple and minimalist setting. Large loft-style building, located in hardbruker, the underground district of Zurich. I’ve been there three times and I’ll go back again
The meat with potatoes was tasty, but the salad was so so, too much vinegar, drinks seem to be mixed too much water.

Impossible to find. Their website sadly won’t help. A hidden gem. But the pizzas are the best in town.
Good pizzeria in Zurich in a cool space. Delicious pizzas and highly recommended for lunch time. Top!
