Walked in group of 8 ok it was busy at the time so there was a little wait for the table. Sat down and ordered at the till to then wait 25-30 mins for our food. I understand when your busy it can be a bit of a wait but when a table of 5 and a table of 4 come in after us order and get their food before us is unacceptable. Then i find a hair in my COLD chips litterally just out of the fryer apparently. NOT ON! said to the staff No refund No appology but asked if i would want more ehh NO THANKS...also the garbage outside is disgusting dog poop bags at the front door of your cafe... very hygenic indeed ... i will not be back to this place!!!
We use JG Ross in Oldmeldrum wonderful staff and wonderful food. We own our own business and while working in Inverurie decided to call in to JG Ross there for our breakfast. To say it was a shock to the system is an understatement. cold Beans, Sausages were rubber and worse still staff with attitude. The woman making the pancakes looked so miserable and didn't even acknowledge a hello. How this JG Ross can be so opposite to Oldmeldrum I have no idea and thank goodness for the good food and friendly staff at Oldmeldrum meaning it has not put us off JG Ross altogether
We went into the restaurant on Tuesday but was very disappointed. We were told there was no salad no coleslaw but the worst no chips really !!!! I had a baked potato tuna and melted cheese needed a magnifying glass to be honest to find the tuna under cheese that was more like red glue than melted cheese . My partner had a toastie the bread was so dried out and hard he could only eat filling !! Both were served with a handful of crisps No discount was offered for trimmed down portion .if this had been our first visit we would definitely not be going back .
Being local to Inverurie jg Ross over the year has been a staple Saturday afternoon visit for us, over the last year or so the service and portion sizes have been diabolical, the service was slow and she was also unwilling to make any sandwiches or heat us up any pies so we went for chicken fillets with chips. we received about 4 chips in our boxes along with your chicken fillets. More staff training is required I think definitely won’t be back until it’s sorted

I was on my way from Tain to Dunnottar Castle and really wanted a pie. We took a ten minute detour off the main highway and had a fantastic pie, well three pies and a sausage roll. The service was brilliant and we could eat in, have tea and coffee. They had great facilities and the pies are outstanding. If you're a pie lover like me and in Scotland, drop by this place. Five stars.
Poor customer service in cafe at lunchtime. No assistant to serve out soup in cafe/coffee shop yet the one on the till taking 2 customers who just bypassed the queue coming from the other direction to order food! at the till! You shouldn’t have to wait in excess of 5 minutes to get served!
Visited today with my mum for lunch but wasn’t very hungry. We come in regularly for food and have never had many issues. As a fussy eater, I tend to order from the childrens menu. Apparently adults can’t eat childrens food! Tried ordering chicken nuggets...

Visiting the head office cafe’ was absolutely a great experience. Everyone has a smile and great welcome. Anne, Maggie and Jennifer were absolutely great. Looked after us so well Love the Chicken Pie and actually the whole meal. Thank you all
Visit portsoy bakers very often, and absolutely so disappointed that it's been changed to cardboard dishes for our food and wooden forks ect and take away cups. Doubt we will be back
