I had friends visiting me in town, so we decided to go to Rote Kapelle for tapas. I had already been here on a separate occasion for a lunch with colleagues a couple of months beforehand, and had at the time had a very tasty root vegetable salad. The place had been recommended to me for its tapas, but I found it was a bit of a let down. We ordered the filled peppers (which were good), some olives (swimming in oil), and a ham ragout of some kind (which seemed like the nicest thing). I had the vegetarian bocadillos, which were a let-down: essentially eggs on lukewarm toast. It's a shame as the service is really good, and the location is lovely. It is average,but I was told I went for the wrong...
I went there on a wednesday afternoon so the place was not full. I was seating on a table for 10 minutes and no waiter come to say hello. After I asked for attention several times a waiter finally came for my order. I asked for a chocolate cake, a simple one, but it was a bit dry and was not tasty. I could not eat the piece of cake completely. So overall, it was a bad experience.
I had several Drinks there. It is a Mix of Bar und Restaurant. It is a nice place to sit urban outside. You Can Take your Drinks to the Lake and sit on the stairs. For glas you have to pay deposit. The S-Bahn Station Feuersee is One Step infront of it. They offer also ice-cream and have a big aquarium in the smoking lounge.
It's a nice place far from the hussle and bussle of downtown. It stays pretty full in the evenings, so expect slower than usual service since there are too many people to wait on. Overall a good place to enjoy a cappuccino and dessert. ;)

Tried their red wine, and were very satisfied. To eat we had two small burgers, which were also very good. But the service... it took them ages to register we are there. And the waiter was very unpleasant.
