I arrived just before 7 , I had made a reservation on their website, but that didn't arrive.I found a table that not yet had been cleared, I waited about 20 minutes seeing the waitress pass by with empty hands about 10 times, so I called the waiter and asked for the menu.Drink came soon , my schnitzel half an hour later.I was outside on the terrace and yesterday in another restaurant the waiter managed double the tables by himself!!!In the waiting time I saw the staff bring the main course to a couple when they had just started their starters.Several times the waitress brought food to the wrong table.I think the chef must have a friendly chat with the waiting staff, after all , its all teamw...
We found this place but chance, just looking for something other that italian to eat and came across a small, beautfully decorated and with great service restaurant. We ordered chicken stuffed with goat cheese and potatoes and my husbando had three meats plate, very good presentation, perfetly cooked, great beer and good prices. Absolutely recommended
We had a great evening out here. The staff worked hard together to explain the 1 English menu they had. Such a welcoming atmosphere. That may sound a little unwelcoming, but 3 of the staff worked through the translations. It was fun and they did great. The food was awesome. Everything was fresh and we'll prepared. Well worth going to.
Travelling off the bebauten path in Limburg an der Lahn, looking for the best place to eat at mid-day. Top recommendation on Trip Advisor was Roter Hahn and we were not disappointed. There are many grades of Schnitzel available throughout Germany, but this is some of the best. A nice variety on the menu, and don't miss the Tiramisu!

We visited the restaurant for lunch! The food was amazingly delicious!! Right amount of salt right amount of condiments!!! A real Gem! The ambiance is of the historical period of the town and the Owners are very friendly and helpful and with a smile on...their face!!!
a small restaurant in a small town on the way to cologne, the food was simly excelent with every bite. I took a schnizle and my husband took a chicken, but it was filled with goat chees melted in the oven, everything was deliciuse.
I would come back to this restaurant next time I visit Limburg am Lahn. We had family dinner with friends and it was overall good for the price. Nice German dishes, tasteful meats and salads. Service was alright.
A pleasant environment and good food. The RH Special is essentially a chicken breast, a pork steak and a beef steak. You certainly won't be hungry afterwards. The wine seemed rather pricey for the setting.

Delicious food and attentive service at a cute location conveniently located in the Altstadt. We ate steak, salads, shrimp and pasta. All was freshly prepared and tasty. We would definitely come again!
Sea this place on our summer visit and decided to try it this trip. Great atmosphere, good friendly service. Mixed grill was fantastic. Good wines and beers. What more can I say?
