My experience of 02/10/2024 will remain a shocking experience... Having ordered a Bufala pizza, arugula, raw ham (not complicated), I received at my table a pizza not only soft but with mozzarella in mini balls from the coop. I then tell them that it 's not buffala but standard mozzarella. No one comes back to me so I get up and walk towards one of the restaurant managers who says to me: That 's how we did it and it 's bufala: Basically: Goodbye, thank you . My mother and I being women who don 't let themselves be taken for tourists , we insisted and even had to go to the kitchen to talk about it. I was very disappointed by my evening in this restaurant on several points: The white wine served after 20 minutes of waiting and service confusion (wine from the boss) seemed bad to me, the delice du lac sur foutain de rosti had the same taste as the delice de la ferme on the same fountain of rosti. The fountain of rosti quickly dried up. My friends had ordered a cheese fondue which was served without salad or potatoes... we asked for an extra salad which was charged (the boss had warned) ... 9.5 chf pp... in short, this restaurant was my disappointment with Villars.

One of the worst restaurants I have eaten at in my life. Friendly staff, but terrible food. I took a forest delicacy, but the mushrooms are full of water, which I left and the rosti is not really one. My partner had a roast beef, but there are only a few slices for CHF 26! We left hungry. We will not return to this restaurant.

Worst meal since my arrival in Switzerland, roast beef at 26franc50 barely 100g of meat on the plate... from the flight..., the salad is bathed in the sauce, the fries are industrial, my girlfriend had a rosti with mushrooms, the mushrooms are in a can, 1 star is way too much, surely the worst restaurant in Villars Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant offers home-style, local cuisine and is comfortably furnished. The service is friendly and very quick. We had coquelet flambée with cognac. Fantastic! The sauce is very fine and goes wonderfully with the fluffy Rösti. As a starter we had the fried cheese balls, which we can also recommend.

Expensive for what it is. Some dishes are culinary ok while others are very mediocre. The specialty (breaded schnitzel) out of stock. 2.5. the syrup. In short, we have fun with the prices for very ordinary dishes. Neither to escape nor to do.

Average reception, we waited in the entrance before anyone took the trouble to come greet us and seat us… The menu and dishes are correct
