Rotisserie Du Val De L'eyre

As there are few options for Sunday dinner we booked this place without really knowing what to expect. It's a real French slice of life. No menu you just go to the counter and order and what arrives is a platter bearing a whole chicken and a mountain of chips. We also ordered bread and salad. Wine and beer are available we had a great local rose. The rotisserie was working overtime as plenty of people turned up just for takeaways. It was lovely to sit at a picnic table beside the river and eat such delicious, simple and very cheap food! Highly recommended but you probably need to book and be able to communicate in French.

Actually, I put five stars to the place. Chicken is a very good, very efficient staff a disposable country place. very good time for a price challenging any competition.
