Rotisserie Royale

We discovered this restaurant by chance, while looking for the neighbors on the other side of the small road. It doesn’t attract your attention at first glance. Luckily for us, the kitchen was open after lunchtime, after 2 pm. We choose the 5 courses menu, plus ‘amuse’. The waitress was very kind and helpful. She advised us very well with the choice of wines. The meal was of excellent quality from starter to dessert. We spent a wonderful rainy afternoon here. Very worth the effort!

We pass in our way to the Castle and finally come for having a Snack, the Carpaccio from Thunfisch was amazing, due to this we comeback for dinner and order the Lammrücken and Viktoriabarsch . Both dishes were simply perfect. Our friends order the 5 dishes menu and say a really amazing combination of a fantastic taste and quality of food . You could think it could be an expensive restaurant but the relationship between quality and price deserve it.

Slow service, could have been much more attentive. Glasses of water and wine ran empty most of the time. Entrees took 1.5 hrs to arrive, though we were the 3rd table (4 persons) in the restaurant. When we asked about our food staff got defensive, bordering combative. The food was fine, but was overshadowed by very poor service.

We had a dinner after a wine producer suggestion. A really good wiener schnitzel and a dessert. Quality/ Price really convenient.

we had the gourmetmenu and was a bit disappointed there was nothing wrong but it was very conservative and dull
