Rouge Boeuf - McMasterville

First timers at Rouge Boeuf. Enjoyed the decoration disappointed with food. Too much vinaigrette on wilted salad. But soup was good. Two of the filets mignon were cold, the other overcooked and the venison medallion was cooked well. But not so sure it was venison as I have already tasted venison and well this one was nowhere near that experience. Poor service, never asked if meal was good, only when we received bill. We are not going back.

Ordered the steak. It was served to my specifications. Should have paid an extra 10$ for the rib eye. Found it a bit tough. Luckily last 3 or 4 pieces were more tender. Started with a Caesar salad - excellent! Ordered a loaded baked potato (4$ extra)! and it was a waste of good money. Not hot, almost tasteless. Were celebrating 3 birthdays (family get-together of 14 people) and service was excellent. Waitress very pleasant, smiling.

Lots of parking available.Nice décor.Was really looking forward to a good steak,but it was not to be.What I got was a pan grilled steak which was tasteless,until I dipped it in the sauce.Not sure I've ever eaten a tasteless steak before and hope I never do again.The fries were good and so were the mixed vegetables.Service was very slow although there were only a few other people.

I went there with a tuango coupon with a friend. It took a long time before a server came to see us. She opened our wine bottle without filling our glasses. Then went away and came a long time after to give us some water and take our order. Each meal took a long time for us to get. And the server never came back to fill our glasses of water. I visited the restaurant with my wife for a romantic dinner. Close to where we are living so. we decided to give a chance.The look is great. However, I ordered mussels. all you can eat...After my first plate. the flavor I ordered is not available anymore. and the one I got, not a lot of sauce and tasless....I am a fan of mussels but. not this time.

Food was cold. We will never go back. Terrible for a meal that's over $110.00 Meat was lukewarm. Vegetables cold to the touch. 2 tiny little pieces of bread. It was like a fast food chain with ill trained kitchen. Maybe microwave that's what it felt like. Atmosphere was good. What can one say it ruined our anniversary dinner.

This is a bring your own wine restaurant which is a franchise operated by a very qualified chef.The menu even for lunch is varied,my guest and I had the steak selection which was tender cooked exactly as ordered.We were not rushed,even the coffee was excellent.It was my first visit but unlikely my last.

Had some petoncles as appetizer and ordered salmon tartare for main meal. Excellent service, expect around 2h for the whole process. Causy ambiance, nice staff and other plates on the table were very good too. Will go again for sure :) Reserva una mesa ahora

We love going to this restaurant since it so well situated and the food is excellent. It gets crowded on weekends so you know it is a hit so we go during the week....they are on Tuango alot as well so you can save big time as well.

I have been many times. A variety to chose from - love there salmon tartar. Bring your own wine is a plus.I had good experiences from this restaurant.
