Rove - Reservar una mesa

I haven't been to Rove since before the pandemic. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and a daily drink happy hour until 7. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable given our inflationary times. I had the grilled chicken sandwich platter $17 which included a side salad. The chicken, was on a brioche bun and was quite good 4.5 and the salad was solid 4 . My dining companion's string fries $5 were OK 3.5 and I had a taste of the happy hour Cabernet $7 which was better than most happy hour wines 4 . I came here with my sister on a Monday night. We just wanted something simple and tasty that’s priced fairly. . My sister had the the risotto which was delish and I had the hummus with grilled pita. Both were really good. The hummus was creamy and just a hint of garlic. It was served with fresh cucumber, feta, red peppers and olives. I also enjoyed the Brooklyn IPA. Hadn't been there since start of Covid? can't quite remember, but they've moved and expanded the bar, which is a big improvement. Will be going back, since Banter never reopened.

Didn't get to taste the food, but the bartender made our Saturday night . Great drinks and unfortunately some pickle juice. Perfect way to end the night. Next time we eat.
