Parking was quite convenient during the weekday. Upon arrival, we chose a seat right up front, allowing us to enjoy the view of the street and passersby — it felt like our own cozy little nook. We began our meal with drinks, and I decided to try the "Rox a Rita," thanks to our sweet and attentive waitress, Ryan. The cocktail was smoky and delicious, with fresh fruit that really popped.
We ordered a couple of appetizers: polenta and a cheese platter. The polenta was delightful, but the fried cheese was absolutely spectacular — we really love our cheeses! I made reservations from home in Kentucky before heading to the Bay for Christmas, and it was the perfect dinner! Our party of six enjoyed everything we ordered. The music was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Thank you for making the evening so special! Small but varied menu, some days the street is closed and there is a lot of outdoor seating and live music. The veggie burger was decent, but there was an excess of bread compared to the patty. As a vegan, I had hoped for a more creative plant-based option than just a standard burger.
Cheyenne was awesome...great waitress! Roasted beet salad was NOT roasted in any way, shape, or form...served straight out of whatever jar in which it was purchased or pickled.
Delicious food, excellent service, and the street was closed off with live music...it was a fantastic evening!
