Roxy's Island Grill

Last time I came to this location I ordered online. I always add 2 single scoops of Mac salad, on the side. I live an hour away, but wanted to pick up dinner on my way home from an appointment. I got home, no extra Mac salad. I tried calling the number on the receipt...never heard back. I lost $4 on that order. I decided to give them a second chance last night. I was on my way home and stopped by. This time I ordered inside. Placed my order, with the extra Mac, and sat down. 40 minutes later, still no order. I went to the counter to inquire. It took an incredibly long time to receive my order. Honestly, if they had gotten it right, I would probably have given it 4 or 5 stars. But how can you take an hour and still forget my sauces? I clearly indicated my sauce requests in two separate places on the receipt. If you’re going to take a long time to prepare and cook the food, you could at least spend an extra 30 to 60 seconds to ensure the order is correct.

Yo this review is specifically only for the loco moco. I’m sorry but it is trash! The meat??? What is it? I had the loco moco from y’all years back and remembered that it was not a hamburger patty BUT figured it was probably the location. Nope! Same thing in 82nd! Wanna do it right and “at least close to the ones in Hawaii”? Hand form the patties! Do it! Do it now!!!!

If you have somewhere to be soon, I recommend avoiding Roxy's. It's definitely not a great choice for a work lunch if you want to be back on time. The food isn't worth the trouble either. Save your time and money and head over to Ate-oh-ate instead; you won't regret it! Reserva una mesa ahora

Pretty bummed on the online ordering. I’ve used it twice and gotten dry chicken with no sauce (teriyaki and the garlic sauce) just got to orders of dry and more burnt chicken. Maybe it’s just the online system but never using it again.
