Mixed review. Maybe it was the time of the day or something. I had a 2-piece dark meat with biscuit, roast beef sandwich and mozzarella sticks. The good: chickens seemed fresh and crispy. Mozzarella sticks were also hot/fresh. Melty enough without being clumsy. : The Roastbeef sandwich was just off. I came home and opened it to supplement estates, the beef was kind of dry/cold, but also somehow soaked the underside of the roll to the point where it fell apart. There was not much beef either. It was a thin pile in the middle of the roll that didn't even get to the edges. The biscuit was just a bit off. The center was good, but the outside was overly hard. It seems like it was baked, too long rested, and was perhaps left under a heat lamp or quickly back in a microwave because of how hard the exterior was. I'd give him another shot, though I'd be hesitant to something other than the chicken from the first visit. Especially since this ended about $17.
Better quality beef than most. If I had a plate I would have made a salad. The semi salad bar/self serve sauce pumps sold me. I got a couple burgers, stacked them with veggies, then rewrapped them... Awesome sauce. Also add a little of the horseradish sauce to the sweet BBQ sauce. It gives it a different kick. Soo many options to try... Definitely going for Roy Rogers for a quick bite. A little bit pricey compared to most fast food spots I'll admit. Use a online coupon for a two for 1 deal and stack your sandwiches with veggies. Much better than.60 cents each for a slice of tomato/lettuce/jalapenos at R.R. it's free!
