Last night, I tried to buy two packs of Newport cigarettes, aware of the big sign on the entry door promoting a $2.50 discount when purchasing two packs with a robo rewards card. However, at checkout, I only received a $1.00 discount. I spoke with an employee who stepped outside with me to check the sign, only to inform me that it didn't have a date on it and there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak with a manager, and she told me she was the manager. I pointed out that their advertisement clearly stated $2.50 off two packs, and I wanted to receive that discount. She told me she couldn't help with what Royal Farms advertised; she was only the shift manager. When I asked if she repres...
Brenda was incredibly kind during my visit. She engaged in friendly conversation and was very polite to the customers ahead of me. I noticed her offering a bag for one patron's food as he was about to leave, and the interaction was both respectful and pleasant. When it was my turn, Brenda generously offered me a complimentary cup of ice to go with my drink since it was such a hot day. I have never experienced such excellent customer service at a gas station or at any other Royal Farms like I did today. I will definitely be returning to this location regularly during my commutes and am looking forward to becoming a loyal customer.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I stopped by to pick up some snacks for the game, and as soon as I walked in, one of the employees started closely watching my every move, as if I were about to steal something. I was just trying to find something for an 81-year-old to eat. When I decided to grab a water and put it in my bag, she even moved to the door to monitor me more closely. I had to tell her that I wasn’t trying to steal; I was just trying to get what I needed and leave. She then tried to brush it off, but I have never felt so offended in my life. I won’t be returning to any Royal Farms stores again.
There should be an option for no stars. The manager of this store is very unprofessional and disrespectful. When I told him that the automated register took my money, his reply was well you should have counted your money before you put it in , and refused too help. Also, for 2 days last week, there was no air conditioning on in the store on some of the hottest days of the summer which caused some of the items in the store to go bad. The cook in the back seems very unprofessional. This is the first Royal Farms I've visited that charges extra for everything. At other locations, I've been able to substitute dark meat without any issues, but the female cook who closes on certain days is quite rude about it. I've never had to pay for sauces before, but she seems to rush through everything and rarely has food that looks appetizing. I think it would be beneficial for her to receive some retraining, as she appears to be disinterested in her job.
This location is really convenient for me, as I can quickly stop in to grab a bite or a drink while I'm on the Lightrail on my way to work. However, during my most recent visit, I encountered one issue: they didn’t have travel lids for hot beverages that seal to prevent spills. As a result, I had to be extra cautious while traveling on the Lightrail.
