my wife and I went on Valentine's Day and had the set three cures menu. eating was to die, it was well presented and plentiful. the service was excellent as the staff is very polite and helpful. nothing was too much annoyed. they let us welcome and there was a great atmosphere in the pub. we would certainly recommend the royal oak and we will certainly return.

Excellent pub with a beautiful atmosphere! Thank you for a great job on Saturday night. Everything thing was done as personally requested. I was put at ease every step of the way even though I was in panice/stress mode as was a surprise party. The Food was out of this world amazing. D.J was fab too. Truly would recommend. Thank you very much.

we had our Christmas party yesterday. Eating was really nice, fresh and homemade. we were very well sought after and would recommend everyone to have a party. it is in a separate room from the back with its own cash, so they do not even have to leave the room. will be definatly going back to eat x

If you fancy a lovely Sunday roast go here. Lovely meal. I can recommend the lamb shanks I plan on sampling the rest of the menu
