Eating at this restaurant felt just like dining at home, as we were made to feel like part of the family. Sakrina was very personable, offering recommendations on flavors, combinations, and portion sizes. It was almost like dining with a friend. The portions have gotten larger since our last visit (which was quite a while ago, but we definitely plan on coming back more often now). The food quality was superb and the service was well-timed. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening. Thank you, Royal Taj, for a job well done.
we have ben here several times in 2015-2016 for dine in and take away, it is very small, may seat 30 people but the take away ifs always very busy. It is a lovely setting, the staff are all Indian and very lovely, the food is sensational, the flavours are terrific.There are many Indian restaurants in a 10km radius, most are pretty decent, this one overall is the best in my opinion for the entire package.
Went as a group of seven for dinner and it was byob, nice looking restaurant with good selection on the menu. We ordered a mix of curries and nothing dissappointed food wise. The young lady serving seemed to have a lot on her plate having to stop mid food running to answer phone for deliveries but I would definitely recommend.
the restaurant is small but the food and service is always the best, the favours are sensational, never a bad meal in several years, most of the Woodvale and surrounding Indian restaurants are good but his one is head and shoulders above the rest for food quality and service.
