I lived part of my life near Roy’s but I never tried their food. My better half swears by their chili cheese dogs. He says they are better than Anne’s. I ordered the Fried Hard Crab, Crab Fluff (which is their baseball sized crab cake battered and deep fried) a chicken cheese steak, and of course a chili cheese footlong. (Chili and Cheese not in the picture because they graciously put it on the side so I could travel with it) The crab fluff was phenomenal. I am picky, like ridiculously picky about my crab cakes and this passed the test. Service is absolutely amazing. Everyone there was accommodating and super friendly.
My fiancé and I wanted to try something new , somewhere we never eaten before In Glen Burnie , Md . We were actually excited to try something new , however We got home got comfortable and looked at my food .The food was so bland I had to go into my own cabinet and grab seasonings to put on our food . And this is just me being honest I’m definitely not satisfied with the food and neither he . I thought I was going to enjoy it and everything mind you I haven’t eaten all day , if anything We felt like we wasted $50 .00
I absolutely adore this restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for years and the food is always fantastic. I highly recommend calling ahead to place your order, as there is usually a wait due to the popularity of the place. They offer daily specials that are posted on their Facebook page, which I have grown to love checking every day. It is a convenient way to see if there is something you like before heading in.
The actual best!! I grew up in Maryland and we frequented Roy’s. I left 16 years ago but visit yearly and it’s always my first stop and has never missed on quality. The food is fantastic and it gives you a true seafood house vibe. No frills place with great flavor! I can’t have a trip home without visiting here (at least) once! Thanks for the many years of deliciousness you guys!

Ok, I have to edit my previous review. Took my Mom for her dermatology appointment right up the street. Thought I'd treat her to lunch, so I stopped at Roy's for crab cakes which always used to be good. We got carry- out and got home to a very DISAPPOINTING meal. They tasted like deep fried turkey stuffing. Yuck... probably never going back...
Today was crab cake special tried to order at 5 PM, was told it would be about an hour, we ran out! So got cream of crab and MD crab soup size has changed from 16 to 12 oz for $10. Took to my father in law at the nursing home, opened the bag, no utensils, napkins, etc This place isn 't what it used to be
Sausage egg and cheese $7?? That is the most I’ve ever paid for one. It’s worth $3.99 maybe $4.50 but not $7. I’ll pass by next time They tried to lie and tell me McDonald’s is $6.50 for a breakfast sandwich to justify high the price. That one egg and cheap frozen sausage wasn’t worth it
Follow-up review for owner- the door says 8 and I was denied at 7:25, doors were locked. Honestly- when the father passed (RIP) this place dove head first downhill. No weekend hours are lame. Also, the food quality has changed dramatically.

I live local and I’m a picky eater. The food is always good and seasoned here! I love the shrimp salad. I got the crabs today and they were HUGE and DELISH! Also, the owner at the cash register is ALWAYS friendly.
Got a soft Crab sandwich fries and Macaroni salad. Very good. Prices are reasonable.
