We had a lovely meal, just me and my wife. The kids were away camping so we took the chance to go into Chester and figured Thai was the thing we had not had in a while and this had the most exciting menu. My wife is Vegan and was very well catered for. The coconut cream mushroom soup was amazing and the masaman curry was another delight. Great value too, we have a banquet for 2 and it was less than £50 for a lot of food. Staff were really friendly and its such a lovely setting
32 years ago the lady (called Mark) who ran this restaurant told me I should try her food for a genuine taste of Thai food. I finally got around to it last week and It was fabulous. Six of us ate different starters and mains so as to try a wide variety and no one could fault anything. Great food great service great atmosphere......Just great. If you're reading this Mark sorry It took so long, I should have listened on the school run. 32 years of catching up to do.
This is the best Thai food you will have the pleasure of tasting in Chester city. The venue is relaxing and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious and good value for money. They do allow walk-ins but I would recommend booking as it tends to get extremely busy. You’re not rushed out either so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Booked for myself and my friends before we knew it was a Chester race day so went with a open oh well but we definitely couldn 't fault the service or food....can only 100% recommend ..if you like good quality Thai food and lovely friendly service don 't leave Chester without giving Ruan Orchid a visit Reserva una mesa ahora
We nearly walked by this place as it seems sandwiched between bigger buildings. That would have been criminal. Outstanding food and a really nice bottle of wine for £65 inclusive of tip for two. Two starters and two mains great value we would go back.
Fabulous Thai restaurant. The food was well prepared presented. The service from all of the staff was excellent. It was a great night in Chester, finishing off with a really enjoyable experience.
