Tacos were overcooked, and the tables were sticky. The cashier was nice and helpful, with my complicated questions. Honestly, we've had a better experience in the past. A gentleman who might have been an owner or a gm was having a very animated and loud conversation on his ear piece outside and then came in a jiggled the napkins and went to the kitchen in a hurry. We will go back but just a little bummed this time. ?
I visited Rubios and ordered the fish and salmon tacos special plate. The food was well-prepared and served nicely. The service was good, with accommodating cashiers. Unfortunately, the store was messy with food debris, sticky table tops, and some tables were not sturdy. It is important for the store cleanliness to be improved significantly at the Bakersfield NW location.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was average. I ordered the shrimp trio tacos and found that each flavor was quite similar. The fish taco special was too soft and mushy for my taste. The food was lukewarm, but the service was fast. In general, I was not impressed, but the flavors were decent.
I absolutely adore Rubios - Lupe, the manager, is fantastic and the food here is consistently delicious. Their fish tacos are hands down the best in town. I like to have lunch from here because they are pretty healthy and have a wide selection. I recommend the cilantro quinoa lime bowl. Also, their salsa is super hot, which is amazing! They never mess up my order.
We love Rubios and order from them frequently. Tonight your food was pitiful. The steak was so dry and no fresh cilantro. Your quesadilla had about a teaspoon of cheese in the whole thing. Do better.
The grilled mahi mahi tacos were delicious and perfect for those who are avoiding gluten. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free.
