Rudee 's Thai Cuisine is a cute find in the Bala Cynwyd/Wynnewood area. The location is a little secluded on the Main Line but worth going if you are not too far and are craving great Thai food. My friend and I went there around 7:45 P.M. after taking care of some goats and we 're glad we did. The owner was really nice as she immediately sat us down and provided us with the menu. As we ordered our dishes, she warned us of Thai spice which can be very spicy for those who are inexperienced with spice. Thankfully she was nice enough to warn us. This is the best Thai restaurant in the area! I've eaten here and ordered takeout at least 30 times over the years, and I've never had an issue with my order. The service is consistently excellent. While the satay, pad Thai, and curries are all fantastic, the real highlights are the incredible pork and peanut dumplings and the crispy taro roots. My kids love the taro roots so much that they often fight me for them! With great service, delicious food, and reasonable prices, this is undoubtedly the top Thai spot in the area – and I've tried many!
Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—just be ready for some authentic heat! When my husband and I visited, we found plenty of parking. The strip it’s located in may seem unremarkable, but the interior is charming, bright, and spotless, with quick and friendly service. I really enjoyed the tangy flavors and fresh ingredients. I’m so happy to have a great Thai restaurant nearby!
The flavors were delightful, and a few dishes stood out as exceptional. However, some basic elements fell short. For instance, the rice and noodles were overcooked and mushy. Additionally, certain dishes lacked seasoning and could have used more flavor. We’re likely to return, but we believe there’s room for improvement.

This is the best Thai food in the area! Everything we’ve tried has been fantastic, but some standout dishes include the green curry, chicken satay, and som tum salad. I also love that you can choose the spice level (from 1 to 4) for most dishes; personally, a level 3 is just right for me.
The food here is incredibly delicious. In my opinion, this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. The flavors are vibrant, and the portion sizes are generous. I will definitely be returning.
Very bright lighting and noise from poor acoustics is a major distraction from GREAT FOOD SERVICE...OTHERWISE WE LOVE RUDEE'S!!!!Vegetarian options: Gluten free option available
I thought I might have covid after tasting the food, only to realize the food was just flavorless. One thing was that it was pretty to look at.
