Rudy's Hideaway Lobster House

This is by far our favorite restaurant, and we've been visiting for a couple of years, going at least 6-8 times a year. I must say, the food is consistently amazing! I really enjoy the ambiance of the place. Don’t be deceived by the exterior; the interior atmosphere is fantastic. We love dining in the Captain's Room, and we always make reservations. The service is exceptional, with attentive staff, which is a significant plus on top of the delicious food. The prices are also reasonable. We haven’t been there for lunch yet, but it’s one of our go-to spots for dinner when we want to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, or just for the heck of it.

This marks our 3rd year having our holiday dinner at Rudy’s Hideaway with longtime friends. I made reservations 2 weeks early for our party of 12 and our table was ready even though we arrived early. The service and food was excellent and served in a timely manner, by friendly and efficient staff. This year was also a birthday celebration. The staff cut and served birthday cake, and boxed up the remainder with a smile and nary a complaint even though the restaurant was extremely busy. My husband and I eat there just during the year and find the service and food just as wonderful.

I dined at this restaurant last night to celebrate my 40th birthday, and calling the food and service “great” doesn’t do it justice. They were very accommodating for my 15-month-old and even moved us to a more suitable booth because of the crowd. It was truly a night to remember, and I was pleasantly surprised with a candle and dessert to celebrate at the end of our meal. We will definitely be returning. A big thank you to the staff and compliments to the chef for a job well done. Cheers, and happy holidays from my family and me!

We are from the East Coast, and many of the dishes we usually enjoy at home were featured on the menu, including chowder and Maine lobster. All joking aside, the food was outstanding, and the staff were fantastic. Our server, Reese, really went the extra mile! This is a truly remarkable restaurant! The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the drinks are excellent, all set in a wonderful atmosphere. I've visited many times and have never had a disappointing experience. It's a favorite spot for both friends and family!

The grilled salmon was tender and flavorful, cooked perfectly without being dry; it was an excellent dish! The prime rib was spot on as well, making for a great meal. And of course, the clam chowder was wonderfully delicious.

I've never had a bad meal at this restaurant. It's my go-to spot for all my out-of-town guests! The food is outstanding. I especially love the Prime Rib, but everything on the menu is excellent.
