Ruedesheimer Kaffee Haus

This restaurant has a view directly across the street and to the Rhine, and a vast menu. There are many, many drink options that include ice cream and or coffee and or alcohol. There also are many desserts and sandwiches. I had strudel and ice cream. It was very good. They asked to be paid in cash, rather than a credit card. That was ok but I did not see any signs about paying only in cash.

They have no clue about allergenes. Ordered glutenfree without any waffles. .. Got ice with waffles.. And no.. Glutenfree does not mean without milk . For the Rest.. Food and service are average OK for Rüdesheim.

I had Kaffe (Coffee)Amsterdam to be adventurous. It was fantastic. Delicious, cream on top with sugar crystals. Shared the most delicious apple strudel. Lovely service. (Also nice, clean WC).

Called in here for evening drink after our meal on our river cruise boat. He said it was delicious, so I guess it was as I don’t drink coffee so I can’t make a judgement one way or the other.

Stopped in to warm up with a coffee and pastery. Pasteries were pretty average but no complaints. The coffee was good and warmed us up.
