Ruffino’s Pasta Grill

What an amazing experience! We arrived early to beat the crowd, thinking I would just have a quick bite, but with so many delicious options, that was tough to do. We decided to go with a tapas style meal. We started with some PEI oysters, then enjoyed the Burrata and the grilled octopus. The octopus was incredibly tender, and the tomatillo chutney was a delightful first for me. For our third course, we had the Branzino, Cacio e Pepe, and the grilled Caesar salad. By the end, we were too full for dessert! I also want to mention that our server helped us choose a fantastic wine to complement our dinner. What a treat—you really made my week. Thank you!

Well not sure where to start, first the waitress was great but the food was absolutely horrible. We got calamari that was out of a bag but they say was made from scratch Then we order pasta that was supposed to be 2 for one and wasn’t We ordered meat sauce with pasta ….absolutely horrible and no taste was more like hamburger helper and the meal was over $350.00 and we couldn’t even finish it When you say in your menu just like Nona’s…..WELL IT WASN'T AT ALL Will never go back ! Oh and it was for my birthday ….so disappointing

My son noticed Ruffino's while we were heading towards the Lake Ontario shoreline, and we're glad he did. The aroma from their wood-fired oven is heavenly. The food was truly delicious. I noticed some comments about the calamari, and I have to agree that it wasn’t fresh. However, the main dishes we ordered were excellent. My son chose a simple spaghetti, while my husband and I each had different pizzas, both of which tasted as delightful as the restaurant smelled. The staff was also very polite, professional, and efficient.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with our friends at Ruffino's last night. It's so cosy on a cool fall evening, with the wood fire crackling away, and lovely aromas wafting from the kitchen. Between us we had 3 different pasta dishes, and each one was excellent. The pasta had a perfect bite, and the sauces were delicious. It's an elegant dining room without being stuffy at all, and though the restaurant was quite busy when we were there, the service was friendly and efficient. Ruffino's is a favourite of ours! We had a wonderful experience at Ruffino’s. We visited for a birthday dinner and were impressed by the great value and service. Our server, Laura, was very friendly and provided us with excellent recommendations. The gentleman who opened our bottle of cava was also helpful, and we appreciated that he did it without a pop! The mid-week pasta and pizza special offered a reasonably priced meal, and we look forward to returning the next time we’re in NOTL.

We got a pizza and pasta dish, and the sourdough and peppers for appetizers.They were all pretty good, but not incredible. It’s the best we’ve had in Niagara. I wish the peppers had more flavor, like salt, but it was still nice.The service and atmosphere is awesome, our waitress was very kind, we would recommend this restaurant and potentially come back.

NOTL shuts down early and we were glad to have found this gem on our last night. Service and food were excellent! They make an amazing red sauce and the best buratta. The margherita pizza was really good as well. Service was so good and our server's name escapes me, but he was so welcoming and helpful with menu choices. We will definitely return.

We were here for lunch in early Sept’23 while on route to Niagara-on-the-lake. We were pleasantly surprised by the authentic and delicious Italian food. But it took awhile for them to serve the food even though the restaurant was almost empty at that time. Would visit again when on route to Niagara Falls. Reserva una mesa ahora

this place is our go-to restaurant when we visit Niagara. we enjoyed everything we ordered. my personal favourite was Ragu pasta (however i think i had a different type of spaghetti when i first tried in 2022 which was more delicious
