I have been coming here since I was a baby and it is still just as delicious. The best enchiladas I have ever had anywhere! The shredded beef in their dishes is so tender and flavorful, most Mexican places around town use bland ground beef that is barely palatable. Their tamales are awesome as well, so much flavor in the chicken or the pork (my favorite). If you have never tried this St. Louis treasure, you’re missing out and should go immediately!
As good as ever. The new remodel is fantastic and makes the Atmosphere even better. The Tequila Fish was a wonderful surprise. The jalapeno bean dip is a must.Parking: You can no longer cut through the back to get to St Ferdinand Park. It's still a great place for Parking.Kid-friendliness: Yeah, they have Hi Chairs and plenty of napkins
The server was very attentive, and the food was of excellent quality. It arrived hot and in a timely manner. However, I found the red sauce to be too spicy for my taste. Overall, it was good, but a bit too much on the heat scale. As for parking, I had no issues; there’s plenty of space available.
I called in my order as the kitchen was closing yet they told me it would ready in 10-minutes. Food was hot and delicious as always. I’m gluten free and tamale’s and enchiladas are both corn based but most importantly they are delicious! Reserva una mesa ahora
Ruiz is an outstanding local restaurant. The service is exceptional, and the food is consistently delicious. The pineapple lemon drop margarita alone makes the visit worthwhile.
Ruiz has become my go to for Mexican food. Taste is great. Hubby loves the tamales. Can't go wrong with anything you choose!
One of my favorite Mexican spots! The steak nachos are my fav and the staff is soooo friendly and welcoming! I love it here
