My friends and I had a wonderful time at Rumba Cubana in Clifton, NJ for lunch. The food was excellent, the restaurant was beautiful, and the company was even better. We started with the Calamares Rumberos and El Rumberito (a sampler), followed by the Mofongo Camerones with a Lobster Tail, Pescado Relleno, and Pollo Rumbero, and finished off with Churros and Flan de Coco, accompanied by a Rumba's Cadillac Margherita. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu.
Excellent Cuban dishes. We tried Crema de Malanga; Vaca frita and Rabo encendido; excellent food; nice seasoning, very Cuban taste. Also Moros excellent and a special dessert a Guava Cheesecake! I can't believe I haven't written a review yet, but this place is the best! Everyone's service is exceptional, from the person who greets you, to each of the waiters, and especially Anniel and Anna at the bar. The service is top-notch and the food is also amazing. Server was amazing. Atmosphere was good, though it was very loud. They brought all our food, appetizers and the main dish, together, which made us feel like we were rushed. Food was underwhelming. no side sauces, guacamole was not salty and had no lime juice. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The portion sizes of the Ropa Vieja at this restaurant are decreasing. Additionally, they charge a 3% fee for credit card purchases. It is not fair to raise prices while reducing the amount of food provided. For takeout, the food was rated a 4, service a 3, and atmosphere a 3.

Cuban style food. Mojitos looked good. Update: Moved out of state however, revisited August 2023. Still very good. Wife and I enjoyed the Mojitos.

This restaurant is excellent. I ordered the Shrimp Mofongo and it was incredibly delicious. You won't find a better version anywhere else.
