Rumi Cafe - Reservar una mesa

Great little place right at Ventura Boulevard. Pleasant outdoor seats with heat lamps, deck overhead and bougainvillea make a wall along the road. They have a number of vegan and vegetarian options. We enjoyed the vegan Bolognese and our children enjoyed penne with tomato sauce. The falafel packaging and seasoned pommes were also good. Everyone who works there was kind and helpful.

Named after the famous Persian poet Rumi, this café is a beautiful, peaceful place with the most tasteful, clean, cooked with love food. Hookah also available. Shahrooz, the owner, is a wonderful host that lets you feel at home. This place is a real jewel. Stop and support Iranian companies!

A small café from Ventura Blvd. The food was very nice and my dinner companion agreed. It is somewhat more expensive than some, but this is made by the quality of food. It seemed popular, but not busy at lunchtime we were there. I would definitely eat there again.

The Rumi salad was great. They have an outdoor patio covered in bougainvilla and there are ceiling fans so it felt comfortable even in Summer heat. The service was very friendly and fast. I will definitely be back.

The baby lamb dogs were delicious, with the side salad and crispy rice. The tortilla for the packaging was safely homemade. Great food on a quiet side street. Very nice.
