I was going to a show a few blocks down and picked this place solely on the menu having horchata creme brulee. As a foodie , I had to do date night there to try it. He ordered the lamb couscous was a bit dry but the lamb had enough sauce that it helped a bit. We ordered the cod churros, they were very crispy on the outside and soft/flaky on the inside. Nice texture and flavor. Not too fishy and not too dry or hard. We also got the calamari, which came with a pepper sauce. This place is amazing! It sits in the middle of a restaurant row near the Hollywood Pantages. It is easy to drive or walk past it because of its unassuming facade. But please don't! This is a wonderful little gem! From the service to the ambiance, the affordability, and the delectable food they serve, I am surprised it isn't more popular than it is. There were quite a few menu offerings that were intriguing, and had we been hungrier, we would have ordered more. What we did order and enjoyed did not disappoint. What a great place off Hollywood Blvd! I frequently visit this part of town for business and often tire of the loud street views at many restaurants. I was completely surprised when I walked through the entrance and was led to an outdoor garden eating area. The arrangement of plants and overhead shades transformed the dining experience into something truly special. The server was incredibly friendly, taking the time to describe all the dishes and providing excellent menu recommendations. Amazing little farm to table place. From meat to vegan to vegetarian this place has something for everyone. Family of 3 w drinks, and dinner, reasonably priced at $130. Would have happily paid twice as much. Gnocci was to die for- first time I’ve ever had a gnocchi that wasn’t hiding under a pound of creamy sauce. the pillows stood on their own w mushrooms and kale! This is a must eat place!
This is my #1 GO-TO place for dinner before my shows. Wonderful and friendly family owned restaurant with delicious food and quiet and soothing ambiance in the middle of a bustling city. You forget that you are in Hollywood in a good way! Great parking options for the whole night $20). This place will not dissapoint! I average 6+ visits/year.
