Has been a favourite of my room-mates, and it’s been a long time since I visited here. It was too hard to walk past the inviting sunny verandah. The friendly waitress came and brought me the menu immediately as well as tap water. I went with the lunch special of grilled octopus salad with beetroot, green leaves, and passionfruit, and Pinot Grigio. Drinks and food arrived quickly despite the place being very busy. The octopus salad was fresh, and loved the combination of sweetness of the passion fruit, earthy beetroot and grilled flavours from the octopus. With friendly, attentive service, excellent food and wine, it is not surprise that this is a popular Italian restaurant. I will come back...
after a few years back at ruocco. eating is still great and the prices are okay. the atmosphere was not too big, people are silently strong in front of the counter. we had booked a table in advance, but at the arrival it was said we had to leave an hour later. the food was ordered and served within the usual time range, which can be expected in a full restaurant. but when we asked about the Dessert menu, we were rejected and asked to go and make space for others. that is very rude behavior, I never had that before.
Ruoccos always serves up delicious Italian fare at reasonable prices.The menu is very extensive with several daily specials so it is always hard to choose a meal.The shared pizza to start was delicious as were our meals of several pastas.The crème brulee for desert was the best I have ever eaten.We will return.
really good domestic Italian food, we love the steak and pasta here. location is really good at the busy road. the seating in the open are very nice in the afternoons. they have good selection at dessert on the display that tiramisu and creambrule were pretty good

Fantastic! Have been craving a good Italian meal for awhile now. We had pizza, osso buco and sticky date pudding and it was all to die for, nothing pretentious, everything perfectly executed. Huge serving sizes, you get what you pay for!
We were hungry and wanted Italian Ruocco sounded like a good idea Beer on tap a good selection of wine and a great variety of food on the menu We had Pizza and Pasta and seared Tuna all was delish, will go again
Went for lunch on Sunday the restaurant was packed the service is very efficient with friendly staff they have the best pizzas and a vast menu to choose from very good food and atmosphere
Delicious comfort food served on a wet gloomy day...perfect way to end our evening. Very generous serves and attentive wait staff which made it a lovely dining experience.

This is a family friendly restaurant that many people have fond memories with growing up, including myself. They always do super pizza and fantastic other meals .
Nice Italian restaurant. Be sure to bring lots of friends as portion sizes are big and you would want to try a bit of everything on the menu! ????
