Our server didn?t greet us for at least 6-7 minutes but was helping out the table right next to us the entire time ? could?ve at least told us she?d be right over. Our coffee was cold and had to beremade. Monkey bread appetizer was good, except for about 1/3 of the bread pieces being burnt and hard. Waited 20 more minutesfor our food after the appetizer came, even though the restaurant was not busy at all. I've always joked about wanting to grab a drink at the bar near the men's section in Nordstrom, and I finally decided to do it. Wow, was I impressed! I tried the blueberry vodka cocktail and the billionaire, and they completely exceeded my expectations. These are the kind of drinks I'd expect to find in downtown Chicago or any other major city where cocktail craftsmanship is prioritized. Ryan was the bartender, and I was amazed by his meticulous attention to detail—from the double straining to zesting the rim of the glass. It was pure artistry. I will definitely be coming back, as these drinks rival those from Seasons 52, Blanco, and other top spots. This place is a true hidden gem!
We've been coming to the café at Nordstrom for around 15 years, ever since our kids were little. It's an excellent family-friendly spot that serves high-quality food promptly. Now that our children are grown, we still enjoy dining here because we can always expect a tasty meal at reasonable prices without a long wait for a table. The staff are always friendly and professional. If you visit in October, be sure to try the pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting—they're some of the best desserts we've ever had. This restaurant remains our favorite choice whenever we're hungry and want a quick seat.
I’ve dined here a few times and consider this place a bit of a hidden gem at Oakbrook. The food quality is usually excellent and always fresh. Their French fries are definitely my favorite part of every meal—so delicious. However, the taco appetizers were disappointing; they’re tiny and come in a crunchy shell, so don’t be misled by the menu description. The only downside was the slow service today—it took about 30 minutes after finishing our meal just to get the bill. Otherwise, it’s a great spot with fantastic food, especially if you visit during less busy hours!

What a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly accommodating. We only had to wait 15 minutes for a table during lunchtime on a holiday, but it felt like no time at all while we enjoyed cocktails near the bar. The menu had a fantastic variety of options, and the service was top-notch! Our waiters were delightful. As a nice surprise, we found pumpkin seeds added to our salad, which was a lovely touch! The cucumber basil cocktails were delicious, and the Niçoise chicken salads were equally tasty! Highly recommend! (Located in Nordstrom at Oak Brook)
Almost every time I go to the mall, I'll stop at Ruscello. Her tomato soup with the crostinis is so good, and I always get the salmon Nicoise Salad, chopped. It is very fresh, with great ingredients and dressing. The stands are clean and comfortable, and the service is always fast.
Our waitress was outstanding! I accidentally left my card on the table, and she went above and beyond by tracking us down at Nordstrom to return it. She also gave excellent recommendations from the menu!
This restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Oak Brook Shopping Mall, situated inside the Nordstrom store. The menu is straightforward, and the food is outstanding!
