Russell's On Macklind

Their food was meh at best...or mid. We had a breakfast sandwich and their special of the day, a Mac and cheese burger. We both chose potatoes as our sides and regretted it. There was no flavor to them and had to add more seasonings. The burger was good, wished it was cooked more as it was more of a medium vs medium well, but not a big deal. It needed a bit more sauce or seasonings on it as it was just lacking in the flavor department. The best thing was the gooey buttercake. That was to die for

The first table we sat down at on the patio had wall installation falling down on top of us. The server said there’s bees in there and I would assume if you knew that you would fix it? The food is good, but for the price it’s not amazing. Desserts are good and the ambience is really cute. Service is a little slow. Maybe better for a happy hour than a nice dinner but that’s just my opinion. I know a lot of people love this place but this was just my experience.

The food was simply outstanding! We had both the short ribs and the pasta with shrimp and they both were excellent. Service was very good. Especially on a weekend evening, the parking is challenging as it is nestled in a residential area with a few other commercial businesses. Don't miss shopping for your desert from the case.

Stopped in tonight to pick up the lemon curd cake I ordered for Mother’s Day, and Bill and Kevin were awesome as always. I don’t get to Russell’s as often as I used to, but I still always feel right at home. The food and service are always phenomenal! Reserva una mesa ahora

Typically always love going to Russell’s for brunch, but not so much this time. Food was good but the service, or lack there of, really kinda ruined it.
