Russo's - Reservar una mesa

We were very sceptical walking into the Bacchus Lounge. We had seen a newspaper clip from behind in January 2019, which boasted its rubber and creole kitchen. However, after entering it looked like more a bar. Very laid, old scenes. Nothing nice. The restaurant in the front is more beautiful, but this is not really our style. We believed something like a bistro or a brewery kind of feeling. In that went what more like a laid bar Gril . Was very skeptical, as the menu was enough to lure from pizza like grilled pork chop with jambalaya. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. The rubber bear, grilled ****, Jambalaya and crowned greens were fantastic. Great taste that definitely does not match the subpar decoration. Could use some renovations.

I heard a lot of great things about this place and was excited to try it. I made reservations for 7 arrived early was sat right away which was nice however, we waited over 15 minutes before we were even greeted by a server. After taking our drink order we waited another 15 minutes or more for our drinks which were warm. When our food finally came the portions were such a disappointment for the price and all the food was cold. Over all we were there for over two hours most of it was just waiting for warm drinks and cold food. As we were leaving I noticed the server was hanging out up front with what appeared to be regulars at the bar. All around was a terrible experience for over priced mediocre food

Great food and very nice atmosphere. Service was a but slow but wasn't that much of a bother to me. Cocktails were your average drinks. All the servers were very friendly and accommodating.

this restaurant in new orleans style has the spicy they are looking for. russos is the place to celebrate the mardi gras tradition. until then.
