There were no menus provided, so we had to pick from a board with around five or six specials. My husband ordered the fried chicken but was served roast beef instead. The biscuits and gravy were okay. We were pretty hungry, so it satisfied us, but it wasn’t anything special. The restaurant appeared clean, and our server was friendly. It was fairly busy at 1:20 PM on a Sunday.
Rusty Tractor is a great spot to stop for lunch while passing through Kansas. The menu offers tasty options, and the waitress provided excellent service.
I had to wait a bit to be served, but given the staff shortage, the food was absolutely delicious. It was well worth the wait.
