VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE! This is a such a cute spot in Downtown Fullerton. I used to go all the time in college and came back to town to visit and it’s just as great! This is a really affordable place to have lunch, they serve cocktails for $6.95 which to me is unheard of. I have not been to a place with such GOOD inexpensive drinks! I had the falafel plate which was probably more of an appetizer plate but good nonetheless. The service was slow but our server was nice and friendly when she came around! This is a great place for anyone looking for a fresh lunch. They have everything from sandwiches, to salads, to yummy cocktails! Thank you for having me!
Enjoyed lunch here with my husband. Love the freshly made sandwiches; especially the albacore tuna. It's been a while since I have ordered a tuna sandwich and it was delicious. Love being able to order a 1/2 sandwich with a cup of soup/salad. Good size and delicious specialty coffees are always a treat here. Service was a little slow this time considering it was not during rush time. It was in the middle of the afternoon. Perhaps service staff was cut back.
I have been going to Rutabgorz in Fullerton for over 10 years. The outdoor seating with fireplace is awesome in winter and the fans are awesome in summer. I bring my pup and he is always welcomed. The food and service is stellar. Can't beat the price for the healthy ingredients or the serving size. My Mom and I always split the dish and still have leftovers. Thank you for being such a great contribution to the community for all these years.
A charming place to meet friends and have lunch. Homestyle atmosphere with lots of eclectic decor throughout. They also have a very extensive menu! Service is friendly and efficient. Reservations are not accepted but they have three dining rooms and a fairly large outdoor patio. Our party of 5 was able to be seated immediately on a recent Tuesday at 12:30 and parking was easy.

I ordered a shrimp avocado salad and i got a chicken avocado salad. But it is ok. I do not like to waste food so I ate it. It is actually alot! I have 2 days trying to finish it I still have it in my refrigerator. The enchiladas were good! I also liked the cheese cake. I would come again.
The 50¢ appetizer was a fun quirky way to start the meal. I had had the Stew You House Special (or similar name) on a previous visit and then came back with friends simply because I wanted it again. We sat outside in the patio which was casual, but pleasant and fresh. Loved it all.
Very cute place, with a huge menu. Everyone will find something tasty here. Good prices, many options between $7-15. Lots of healthy vegan and vegetarian choices alongside chicken, turkey, tuna, and shrimp entrees. Wholesome dishes on the kids menu. I'll definitely be back!
We all regularly require a Safe Place. Around here, this is where I can hide and be treated like an actual human being. The food here is honest about what it is. Come on down, and you can just the food, but they would never ever ever judge you.

Literally the most fresh food I ever eat is from here. The smoothies made with real fruit and the giant salads are the best; I literally always get a salad, so yummy. Highly recommend for some quality healthy food.
