Rutabegorz Fullerton

I went here with my (carnivorous) boyfriend on a recent visit to California. While I am a fully practicing vegan, the one exception I allow myself on occasion is grilled cheese sandwiches (they are my kryptonite). I ordered one here, which said on the menu only that it was melted cheese on squaw bread and had a vegetarian icon next to it. When I got it, it was pretty gross. It was lightly heated (not toasted) sweet bread with really thick and rubbery pieces of american and swiss (gross) cheese on it. Now, I know I was taking a chance ordering a grilled cheese, but the menu or the waitress should have at least mentioned the types of cheese on the sandwich. Especially since swiss cheese makes...

I go with my friends who like to eat healthier, but are not vegetarian or vegan. I can get an salate that's pretty good. there are no vegan dessert options, and I need to ask a lot about what has happened. there are tons of vegetarian options, but not many things for vegans. the menu is a romantic and really sweet to go through. they can customize a lot of dinge to make it vegan, but I in the rule with the thai peanut salad, that is a huge portion. eating is also not my favorites, but it is a sweet little restaurant in a house, so the atmosphere is fun and my friends really enjoy it. it is a good place to take non-veg friends as there are options for them both, but if they are vegan, they ne...

Great service, good food, big portions. Our waiter, Gerardo was very attentive. He often checked us and made sure the water stays? I drink a lot of water, so I really appreciate it! We started with their $0.52 Dip Special, which was fresh carrots and celery sticks with a delicious peanut butter a Thai sauce dip. Then we ordered the Garlic Chicken Pasta and the Veggie Mu Shu. Both were delicious and big enough to take home enough for another meal later. Finished with a Yerba Buena Latte, which was easy minty and very satisfying.

I've been going to Rutabgorz in Fullerton for over 10 years. The outdoor seats with fireplace are great in winter and the fans are great in summer. I'll take my pup and he's always welcome. The food and service is stellar. Can not beat the price for healthy ingredients or the portion size. My mom and I still share the court and have leftovers. Thank you for making such a great contribution to the community for all these years.

I really enjoyed Ruta's. The atmosphere was great, quite and friendly. The service was always spot on. I really enjoyed the Mexican Caserole and the pumpkin hummus was awsome. The salads are MASSIVE. The price was fair, I can have a beer, huge salad, pumpkim hummus and chips, leave a good tip and still walk out for under $20.00.

Very nice place, with a huge menu. Everyone's gonna find something nice here. Good prices, many options between $7-15. Many healthy vegan and vegetarian choices besides chicken, turkey, tuna and shrimp. Full dishes on the children's menu. I'm definitely back!

we've been here for 9 years. not even we ever had a bad court of them. one of the best places to eat with friends. they made the house cookies after their meal uuummmm
