Wonderful ambience, great service (very impressive), and the food was outstanding. We had heard about Ruth's Chris for years but had never experienced it until this year. I don't think you could go wrong ordering any dish. We had the gumbo and salad for a starter and filet mignon and rib eye for the entrees. Perfectly cooked and so tender. It was also my husband's birthday and they had sprinkled the table with sparkly birthday confetti and after dinner presented him with a small chocolate mousse with a candle. My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. The pork chop and petite filet mignon were excellent as were the garlic mashed potatoes the seafood gumbo. The service was EXCELLENT and made us feel special on our special occasion. He brought out a complimentary glass of champagne for the both of us to toast and enjoy, then some chocolate mousse cake with a lit candle. Little things like this really are a lost special touch by restaurants nowadays. It's the little things that make for memorable occasions. The table cloth was even sprinkled with confetti that said happy anniversary.
Yesterday, was Mother's Day and we had a terrible experience at the Myrtle Beach location. We live in Myrtle Beach and have visited the steak house multiple times, but this time was a huge disappointment. Through it all, servers Sam and Reginold were awesome and tried to improve a bad situation. We are disappointed the management team was not attentive enough to proactively address customers and get in front of the kitchen's problems.
We were seated promptly, and the entire team provided exceptional service. Their people skills were impressive, and the steaks were cooked to perfection (exactly rare medium rare). The side dishes arrived hot and were thoughtfully prepared, showcasing excellent taste, texture, and presentation. Our main server, Austin, exemplified the kind of professionalism I value in my own business.

We were there for 3 hours or more just waiting for our food. It was overbooked and overpriced for our experience and food. We went for a special night to celebrate Mother's Day and it was not a good time. They need to limit reservations and hire more staff.
The kitchen staff was so far behind with orders that we waited 1.5 hours for our food. Other patrons were complaining as well and some were all but falling asleep at their tables. A disappointing experience and we will not be returning.
As usual, we had a great meal at Ruth's Chris. Lots of activity, there was a couple of larger parties all around the restaurant. Riley was our server and she was friendly and knowledgeable.
Wonderful date night dinner. Kieran is such an amazing server. Super knowledgeable and attentive on wine, drinks, and menu. Will definitely return for the service

We love Chris, Courtney, and Melissa. It’s a weekly visit. Can’t beat their service. Our drinks are always ready.
Kieran was fantastic! I will definitely request him again the next time.
