Ruth's Chris Steak House

Went for a Christmas Eve early dinner and it was a pretty mediocre experience. There were a couple of dishes that tasted good like the sweet potato casserole and the calamari. However the mains were pretty disappointing. I got the ribeye that was rare instead of medium rare in certain parts and didn’t really have anything special about it. The lamb chops were pretty bland and didn’t have a great flavor to the meat. My wife did enjoy the salmon and shrimp but I can’t really say it would be worth it to go there just for that. It was possible they were phoning it in due to it being Christmas Eve. Service was good and no complaints there. Overall was underwhelmed with the main dishes and would not recommend.

My mom, sister, and I went to Ruth's Chris (Tyson's) on New Year's Day to celebrate my birthday. We typically go for dinner a few times a year for various celebrations. We always have Izzet as our server. He is great at his job and has vast wine knowledge. I also frequent the Fairfax location (which is closer to my house) for happy hour every so often. I highly recommend either location for both a sit-down dinner or more casually eating at the bar for happy hour.

Yes it is pricey, but it will be the best steak you have ever had. We split the Tomahawk Ribeye but couldn?t even finish it. Service was excellent, the bread was too good, and the baked potato changed my life.

Customer service is like no other. The food was great. Cowboy Ribeye perfectly boiled, Calamari is the best I ever had. And omg mentioned the chocolate cake? Everything about perfect experience.
