Ruth's Chris Steak House - St. Louis

Overall, Ruth Chris was a good experience. The steak was slightly overcooked (maybe the hot plate kept cooking it which made it seem that way . The potatoes were slightly undercooked. I would, however, go again for the food. The waiter, was a little off putting. I 'm not sure if he assumed that we had never been to a restaurant at all or what but some of his comments were kind of weird (Ex. All of our side dishes are ala carte that means that they are sold separately. Also, my husband telling him that he can take the dishes away from our appetizer and the waiter said Yes, that 's why we have extra forks and knives. Very off putting. I am willing to maybe give them another try, though.

Service was mediocre, had to flag the waitress for service. My wife ordered a glass of wine and had to wait 15 minutes for the wine, waitress never offered a 2nd glass of wine, my wife also ordered a steak oscar style which the Oscar was very cold, my son ordered mashed potatoes and were also cold and not creamy at all. The waitress never came to ask how was the food and last, but not least, she came to take a dessert order while we were still eating our entree. All this while the restaurant was not busy at all. I've been in Ruth's Chris all over the states and never service was this bad. We are from out of town and this was our Thanksgiving dinner, which was not pleasant at all.

Fantastic experience for Thanksgiving! Food was good, service was top notch, value was good considering everything we received. I didn't know my guests were bringing their small son, but the restaurant accommodated us with no issues. Recommend!

for my wife and I was our first experience wonderful. especially we celebrate our 19th anniversary. the seating was great, directly with a look at the arch, our table had designed rose petals for us. the food and the service were impeccable.

This Ruth Chris is run down. They had tvs at the table and it was old and wore out. We had thanksgiving and it was very mediocre and expensive. The service was the only good part. I generally like Ruth Chris but not this one,
