Rutt's Hut - Reserva de mesa

For my wife and myself, this restaurant was menza menza. My wife ordered a hamburger and she wanted pickles on top, but this request was refused. The man at the counter informed us we would have to purchase a bowl of pickles. A turn off right there. I asked for sour kraut for my hot dog. This request was again refused. The same man at the counter informed me I would have to purchase an entire order of sour kraut enough for 4 hot dogs. Another strike I wanted a Chicken Parmesan sandwich at 7 45. This request was denied. It was too late and the kitchen was closed. Lastly, yes it was 8 PM, closing time,but we were finishing our meals, when they closed the dining room lights. The best hot dogs I’ve ever had. The relish is uniquely delicious! You can taste the reason why this place has been around for a long time. The onion rings were fresh and yummy and the chili dog I took to go sealed the deal for me. So.dang.good. This place will be a must go whenever I’m in North Jersey. Thanks for the lovely hospitality as well… this place is a winner!

Wow! What a gem! I went in there with my toddler daughter and tried the ripper, burger, fries, and a birch beer. All very tasty especially the cabbage relish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and even gave my daughter a lollipop. They told me a bit about the history of the spot and how to dress the ripper. 10/10 would go back.

Ok, I see what the hype is about. Was told to try this place out by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. Went with the ripper dog with their chili and most importantly, their relish (which by far was the best).
