My favorite seafood restaurant in New Hampshire! I often find myself daydreaming about my meals here throughout the year. My job takes me to the Granite State Whale Watch (which is also an amazing place) once a year, and that’s how I discovered this delightful little gem. If I didn’t live 2.5 hours away, I would come every week, maybe even more! Everything on the menu is delicious, but the Montauk Seafood Salad has truly stolen my heart. Enjoying it by the water’s edge, with golden rays of sunshine warming me—is simply beautiful.
This charming little lobster shack is incredibly friendly and offers a concise menu of tasty, fresh dishes. The lobster roll, roughly the size of a hotdog, is packed with succulent lobster meat and generously dipped in butter—it's a delightful indulgence that’s absolutely worth it. Additionally, the fluffy clam chowder strikes a perfect balance between lobster bisque and traditional clam chowder, featuring a generous amount of lobster for a great price. Service is provided for dine-in.
The traditional lobster pound experience is truly delightful, enhanced by a fantastic combination of garlic, butter, and wine. This restaurant is a cherished spot in the local harbor, with exceptionally friendly staff. I should mention that the steamed lobster and mussels were delivered piping hot, expertly wrapped for the hour-long drive home. Overall, I rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
I tried the Chunky Lobster Bisque and the Fluffy Chowder, and both were packed with delicious lobster. The Fluffy Chowder had a light and airy yet creamy consistency, and it was excellent! The Lobster Bisque was rich in flavor, smooth, and creamy. Also, Lily, the golden retriever, was an adorable dog who loved getting belly rubs! Food: 5/5.

I also noticed another customer enjoying a beautifully presented lobster mac and cheese, which looked incredible and came in a generous portion. I might have made him a bit uncomfortable by watching him enjoy his meal!
An added bonus: if you're just picking up food, you can park for free for 30 minutes in the state-operated lot.
This restaurant provides an excellent takeout experience for lunch, featuring outstanding food, service, and ambiance, all earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the lobster roll and clam chowder. There's also ample parking available, although it is located in a paid lot.

We were eager to return to Rye for another delicious lobster roll from this restaurant, but sadly, they are closed for the season. If you find yourself in the area when they are open, make sure to stop by—you won't be disappointed!
We had lobster rolls and fluffy chowder and it was very good. The chowder was full of lobster meat and same with the roll. It was as good as everyone says it is.Food: 5/5
