S. Luis - Reserva de mesa

Went to this restaurant based on the existing reviews and got really disappointed! First there is no tables inside… The restaurant is just the esplanade!!! Then ordered the “Terra e Mar” dish for 2 people and the portion served was too small for two, way too much liquid on the plate, and the fries and “esparregado” were just bad. On top of that all deserts are 5€. Absolute ripoff considering the normal price of those in any Portuguese restaurant. This place is a trap for tourists!

We were a massive group of about 30 people and we just celebrated a wedding the day before so everyone was a bit excited and loud but the team here took such incredible care of us. The food was excellent, the wine was delicious and the service was something i'll never forget. We had such a great time here and hope to visit again! Thank you for dealing with our craziness!

My companion and I enjoyed a tasty meal and attentive service here. We especially loved the Bacalhau San Luis and the almond cake/tart (from the recipe of the grandmother of our server, we were told after asking). We were passing by and in between tourist activities. It was an efficient, healthy meal and a good value. Overall an excellent experience.

Tourist trap. They seated us but refused to make eye contact for ten minutes. We went around the corner to leitão rural where the locals were eating. It has a limited menu but was excellent. So glad we cut our losses at s. Luis. Ironically it was right next to where we parked our car. Watch out for the broken parking meter across the street. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food , wine, ambience were AMAZING, would recommend this restaurant to All !!!! From start to finish service was excellent, b ensure to order the cold salad, lettuce and tomatoes are SO FRESH, recommended wine was superb!!!!

O Sr. Marco foi excelente na ajuda da escolha do prato. As opções do dia tinham uma bochecha de porco derretendo tão suave. Além da melhor mousse de chocolate de todos os tempos. Eu recomendo!

Excellent food, wine and service. Try their grilled preto porco with home made chips and spinach along with their recommended Vidigueira wine. Great quality snd very affordable prices.
