Sa Cuina is one of those restaurants that serves genuine, traditional mallorcan food. Frequented by the local farmers, gardeners, painters and other tradespeople, as well as a band of regular visitors to this part of the island, this place is a true testament to the authenthicity of the cooking. Set in a lovely old villa with a terrace and spacious dining room inside, we have been eating at this restaurant for 14 years and highly recommend it. Sunday lunches are always very popular and the place gets packed out with mallorcan families and visitors. Run by the warm and wonderful, multilingual Patricia and her husband, this restaurant offers good, wholesome dishes that is proper mallorcan food...
Nos encanta este restaurante y siempre lo visitamos cuando vamos a Mallorca cada año. Dirigido por la políglota Patricia y su esposo chef, Emilio, este restaurante ofrece auténtica cocina mallorquina. Un bien escaso en estos días cuando la mayoría de la gente pide pizzas congeladas y papas fritas. Ubicado en una antigua villa con una decoración encantadora y una zona de comer al aire libre rodeada de árboles y flores, este es un entorno idílico para disfrutar de buena comida. El servicio es impecable, amigable y encantador. Definitivamente vale la pena visitarlo.
Service available at least on four different languages (English, Spanish, Dutch and German) by lovely co-owner Patricia. We ate here two dinners and one lunch. Menu del dia is really good bargain since with 8,50€ you get starter (we chose tortellinis) main course and dessert plus wine water. Blind paella was very tasty and our kids (2y and 7y) enjoyed good hamburgers with french fries and ice cream. Kids medu including soft drinks and water was 7,50€. Patricia offered crayons and paper, she have books for kids and even some toys.
We stopped here just because we were driving around looking for somewhere to eat for lunch and we're very glad we did. The menu of the day is great value and the food was very good. We struggle with our Spanish and the lady who served us translated everything for us so we knew exactly what we were getting. El local estaba súper limpio y la atención del dueño fue INCREÍBLE, desde el primer momento. Tuvimos cena con los niños y nos proporcionaron crayones y papel para pintar. Fueron más que amigables con los niños. En cuanto a la comida, todo lo que pedimos estaba muy sabroso y delicioso, pescado fresco y platos de carne local. Solo pedimos helados de postre pero los caseros lucían muy atractivos.
Though situated a little out of town, it is worth a visit. We went there on the last night of our stay and wish we had been there before. The husband and wife team (she is English) who own the restaurant were most welcoming. The menu was slightly different and offered some excellent fish dishes. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented.
