Sabor Unido - Reserva de mesa

After arriving at Newark Airport around lunchtime, we decided to visit the nearby historic Ironbound District for some Portuguese food. Based on the reviews, we decided to try Sabor Unido and we 're really glad we did. The food, service and the warm, friendly, family vibe were all fantastic. We enjoyed grilled sea bass and squid, both of which were excellent and perfectly prepared as were our sides of mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and fried yucca! Our server, Letitia, was lovely and professional, and we had the chance to chat for a few minutes with the owners, who treated us like regulars. Just an all around great experience! The food was amazing and there was excellent service. My friends and I got the shrimp in garlic sauce, which came with two sides of your choice, and the grill chicken. The sweet potato fries were AMAZING had to get seconds. I highly recommend this place. The vibe was very intimate and relaxing with great music. As for drinks, the Brazilian Guaraná soda is a must have. The portion sizes are also very reasonable considering the price.

This salmon is nothing like I've ever tasted. A party of flavours with a choice of two special sides. I picked deep fried bananas and green collards which was also the suggestion of my waiter. The salmon was grilled to perfection, the lemon added taste and looks. The staff super friendly and welcoming! I'll definitely go back to try other dishes.

This is one of my all time favourite restaurants in the NY/NJ area or anywhere really. Just the best grilled squid with quinoa and not over-cooked collard greens. Super cold Super Bock. small, cozy restaurant with simple but tasteful decor, friendly and professional service, honest and well-made Brazilian cuisine. I was in a couple of other Brazilian restaurants in the opposite and that was my best experience of all. the bathroom is clean and they offer cheap for the counter) parking $9.)

Pleasant environment with dilated music. The food was wonderfull, delicious a mix of Brazilian and Portuguese. The owner, Orlando and us had a friendly conversation. Luis, our server was very nice and guide us through the special. I really recommend, everyone will enjoy good food and place.

the restaurant is well developed and well equipped with personal. eating is fresh, the environment invites you and your personal is friendly and attentive. I recommend to be a little adventurous and go outside their comfort zone. they will take care of you.
