The portion sizes at this restaurant are very small. We tried the Mushroom Galouti Kabab, which only came with 2 pieces of puffed mushrooms, not enough for even one person. The Avocado Raita was served in a small, shallow bowl that left us questioning why we even ordered it. To top it off, the Kullar Chai was served in a regular brown cup instead of a traditional clay cup. Overall, we left the restaurant feeling hungry despite paying a hefty bill.
the food and service in saffron was excellent. we had tapas, escaped and dessert, who were all very well prepared. the peach sangria was tasty, but weak and the prices were a tad high. we enjoyed the dinner very much and would go back.
For many years, this restaurant has been a beloved part of the neighborhood. My family and I had a wonderful time during our visit. The food and service were excellent. Herbert leads a fantastic staff.
