Service was friendly but obviously understaffed, every step of the meal took too long. Both my lentil soup as well as the Chicken Madras (supposedly hot was quite bland unfortunately, I was 2/3 through my meal by the time the dish of extra spice came. It is beyond me how you can explicitly label a dish hot (German: Scharf if you 're going to serve it as mild. Did the cook forget something?

We were the first time in the Sagar in Werder and were positively surprised. A small but fine Indian restaurant that sits comfortably there and the food tastes excellent. Since the restaurant is so small, a reservation would be appropriate. We were lucky when we were there at 5:00.

Vegane Gerichte auf der Karte nicht deklariert, bei Nachfrage ist die Bedienung aber sehr hilfsbereit. Hatten das Erdnuss-Curry und Zwiebelringe als Vorspeise. Beides war lecker. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-20

Couldn’t find options in the menu which were clearly marked as vegan. Picked a vegetarian dish as a foundation and the friendly waiter offered to replace the cheese with tofu. The result was really delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

My companion and I were more than enthusiastic. The food was a culinary fireworks and the service was very friendly and accommodating. We definitely come back more than 1x.
