We just moved to Folsom and I have been on the hunt for good Thai food. I decided to try this place because the reviews for pad Thai were good.....with some people stating it's the best they've ever had. Unfortunately my experience was not good at all. The noodles were over cooked and slimy. The tofu was rubbery, tough and tasted burnt. The overall flavor was strange (bitter for a lack of better words) and not like any pad Thai I've ever had. It was almost like the food was old and reheated. It definitely didn't taste or look fresh. It came with a slice of lemon, which is odd as Thai food usually comes with lime. I'm so disappointed because I literally could not eat it after taking two bites...
I've been a loyal customer at Sai Varee for many years, and they always impress me. The food quality is consistently outstanding, whether I pick it up or have it delivered. Their Wonton Noodle Soup is absolutely remarkable! I also really enjoy their Fresh Rolls with shrimp, and the peanut sauce that accompanies them is incredibly tasty. For something sweet, I can't resist their Fresh Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice. The mango is always perfectly ripe and delicious! I highly recommend ordering from this place!
I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit! I dined solo for lunch and tried the Beef Salad with Chili Lime sauce, along with a side of rice. The spice level was just perfect, and the meat was cooked wonderfully! You can pick your own seat, and the service provided by the woman there was exceptionally warm and friendly. I'll make sure to catch her name on my next trip!
I ordered the Yellow Curry (Kaeng Ka-Ree), Pad Thai, Fried Banana, and Satay Chicken, and everything was outstanding! I'm especially happy to highlight the peanut sauce that came with the Satay, which was excellent. It had a perfect consistency and a deep peanut flavor. I've had my fair share of disappointing peanut sauces in the past, so this was a delightful surprise!

Yet another place where you walk in and there is one person running around like crazy and you have to sit and wait for 10 minutes until they notice you. Even though the restaurant is not close to full.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! Apple does an incredible job with everything. It's truly a hidden gem! My favorite dish is the Massaman curry, but I also really love the Tom Yum soup.
The fresh spring rolls and Tom Kha were exceptional. The peanut sauce had an amazing flavor! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was immaculate.
I'm not sure why the restaurant was so quiet, but the service was extremely quick and friendly. The Pad Thai was outstanding and came in a large portion.

The Avocado Curry at Sai Varee Thai Cuisine in Folsom is absolutely delicious. I will definitely order it again!
Skip this place and go for Thai Paradise instead; it's much better in comparison.
