I've had my eye on Saigon Place for a while now.It has a great location with nice decor/ambience and beautiful branding so my hopes were high that they could deliver some exceptional Vietnamese cuisine to match.Unfortunately, they could not.Service was very slow (due only to the fact that they were understaffed) and the food was average at best. The summer rolls were good but not great.$17.90 for a dry (tasted like it was reheated in an oven) chicken thigh (no drumstick) being sold as authentic Vietnamese Deep Fried Crispy Skin Chicken with a small salad/garnish on the side is just not enough value for the money they are asking. On a positive note the black sesame ice-cream was exceptional and...

The Saigon Palace has transitioned from being a Vietnamese restaurant to a more traditional Asian establishment, offering a variety of Chinese and Malaysian dishes. While the food is good, it lacks the fresh and clean flavors that I used to love about Vietnamese cuisine. It is still worth visiting to see if it suits your taste preferences. The Chef mentioned that the current menu reflects the demand for Asian dishes over traditional Vietnamese options. The restaurant is BYO only and our party of 4 found the prices to be very reasonable, with most dishes costing less than $20. The service remains consistent, but the décor has changed to a more generic style. Overall, it is worth visiting as a...

My family went on Saturday night and we enjoyed it so much I booked for a girls night out on the following Monday. It did not disappoint. On the first occasion, i ordered fresh vietnamese rolls. These I found a little tasteless so did not reorder them on the Monday. The Vietnamese pancake was outstanding and the crab and prawn spring rolls were really tasty. Other standouts were the salt and pepper prawns which were perfectly cooked and the salads, beef and crispy chicken all well flavoured. As there were not too many people in the restaurant, it was easy to talk. We will be back soon.

We enjoyed our meal at Cuu Long, a restaurant serving fresh Vietnamese food with plenty of vegetables. It is a great option for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten-free diets. Just be sure to communicate any dietary restrictions. It's worth noting that Cuu Long is not the same as Saigon Place, despite sharing the same address on Google. Cuu Long offers traditional Vietnamese dishes in a casual setting, while Saigon Place appears to have a more fusion-style menu with fancy plated meals and desserts. I will definitely return to Cuu Long, as we had a great experience. Reserva una mesa ahora

Was craving vietnamese, and it hit the spot. We ordered the coconut beef - amazing! A must try. I ordered a vietnamese pork salad that was great but I realised after it came out that I actually had ordered a R.Y.O (roll your own spring rolls) - Which wasn't very clearly label. Nonetheless I mixed all the ingredients in a bowl - and made it a salad - It was great. Servings were small and the price was high.. thats the only down side! But food was good

This restaurant looks nothing special, but the food is fantastic. It's a family business, I think the Dad does the cooking. All the food is freshly cooked and piping hot. Try the Vietnamese pancake, or the salt and pepper prawns - they are wonderful! My husband and I eat here often - there are many restaurants in the area but this one has GREAT food always.

A favourite Friday night spot for my GF and I - friendly service and tasty Vietnamese food. Vietnamese pancake is a little over-priced but is definitely worth trying. My favourite is the chilli lemongrass chicken and tomato rice on the side to mix it up. BYO wine with a bottle shop across the road is also a tick from me.

Went for a quick bite to eat after seeing the Banh Xeo pancake advertised in the window - and it was delicious. Reminiscent of meals in Vietnam. We also shared the coconut beef and the spiced tofu - both which were packed with flavour with spices and herbs! even though not necessarily Vietnamese. Don't be fooled. This little restaurant may look underwhelming but it's a real find. Quality, fresh Vietnamese food in an honest friendly family restaurant that is very special. Don't be a Mosman snob, it's very handy and delicious. Come and try it.
