Saigon Royal Vietnamese Restaurant

We always come here with a group of friends. This is our go to place down south for Vietnamese food. But yesterday we went in as per usual and there was a strange smell. We got seated and the smell became more intense. I couldn't put my finger on it, and then I realized it smells like sewage. We were also close to the bathrooms. I am disappointed cause we love this place. If they had a problem with the plumping which caused a sewage backup they should have closed the restaurant for that day. The owners should know better. If I was the owner I would have closed the restaurant to air out the place. The smell was so bad and the whole restaurant was penetrated in a bad odour.

Stumbled upon this lovely and totally unexpected little find in the deep southern suburbs of Calgary. Very friendly and attentive service before receiving the best Beef Pho we've had. Super fresh and diverse selection.

Very fresh and tasty meal. Went as a family with two kids. The vermicelli dishes were a particular hit. Third time here. Will come back soon. Very well priced.
